How Do I Add/Delete Favorite Stations?
Delete a Station:
To delete a station from your favorites list, go to the “My Stations” page, swipe from right to left, and hit “Remove” once it pops up.
Add a Station:
When you are on the “My Stations” page, simply click on “Add a Station” and choose from the stations provided. If you already have four favorite stations on your “My Stations” page, you will need to delete one station to add it.
How Do I Start Listening To A Station?
Select a station from your “My Stations” list. Once you are on the station feed, click on the hamburger menu in the upper left hand corner. The very first item on the menu will be “Streaming”. Slide the toggle to the right to turn the stream on.
How Do I Turn My Station Stream Off And On?
When you are on your station feed, click on the hamburger menu in the upper left hand corner. The very first item on the menu will be “Streaming”. Slide the toggle to the right to turn the stream on, and to the left to turn it off.
If you switch stations you will continue streaming that station unless you go into your station menu and change it.
How Do I Make Sure Location Services Are Enabled?
Clip Radio detects your current geographic location in order to serve you local stations. Location services on your smartphone uses GPS along with Wi-Fi hotspots and cell tower locations to determine your approximate location. To enable your location services, simply navigate to your smartphone settings and make sure location services are enabled. If you prefer, you may choose a location from the “My Location” option within the Clip Radio menu.
How Do I Create An Account?
Simply download the app to your smartphone and open the app. You’ll be prompted to create an account. You can also click on the settings icon and click on the account tab to create an account. We suggest using your Facebook account.
What Does “Clip Services Unavailable” Mean?
This usually means that the Clip Server is down and unable to provide you with the information you’ve requested. If you’ve received this message, please let us know by contacting us.
How Does It Work?
We use an audio recognition technology that allows you to interact with your favorite radio stations (in supported areas). Once you open the app you can select which station feed you want to engage with. If you’re not sure what station your listening to, just “Clip” to detect the station. Still can’t find the station you’re looking for? Select “More Stations” to see all of the stations available in your area.
Where Is My App Menu/Settings?
In order to access the App menu, go to your “My Stations” page and click on the hamburger menu in the upper left hand side. In order to access your station menu to call, email or follow the station on social media, go to your station feed page. Click on the hamburger menu in the upper left hand side of the screen.
How Do I Get Free Music?
Clip Radio allows you to download select songs for free. After you Clip a free song, you’ll have the ability to download an mp3 file and save it directly to your free Dropbox account. Learn more about Dropbox
Why Do I Have To Create A Dropbox Account For Free Music Downloads?
We have partnered with Dropbox for the ability to transfer free music files to Clip Radio users. There are several benefits to partnering with Dropbox:
- Music is delivered in an mp3 file format allowing you to listen to the music in a number of different devices and players.
- Dropbox lives in the cloud. This means you can access your free music from your phone, PC, laptop or tablet – from just about anywhere.
To access Dropbox from your PC, laptop or tablet, simply log in or create a Dropbox account.
What Are The Steps For Receiving Free Music?
- Download Clip Radio
- Create a Clip user account
- Select your favorite radio stations and look for the free music clip.
- Follow the prompts to download the free music

Why Don’t I See A Dropbox Icon On My Phone?
Why Can’t I Find My Song In My Dropbox Folder?
We are working hard to ensure every song is delivered to you instantly. However, you may occasionally experience an error during the download process. If you do, please email our support team and they'll be happy to assist you.
Can I Play The Songs In The Playlist History?
The short answer is no. However, if you saved songs to your clip list, and you downloaded the song for free via Dropbox, you can listen to your song from your Dropbox folder.
Can I Play The Songs Saved To My Clip List?
You cannot play the songs from your Clip List. However, if the songs you’ve saved were free downloads via Dropbox, or you purchased them from iTunes or Google Play you can go to those apps to listen to them.
Why Does The Feed “Stop” After One Hour Of The Broadcast?
Right now we are only providing up to one hour of the on-air broadcast in your station feed, however we are looking to expand that in the future.
Why Should I Create A Clip User Account?
You don’t need an account to use Clip Radio. However, if you want access to features like the ability to download music, participate in station promotions, giveaways and enter contests you will need an account. Your account also allows us to deliver to you special content and any prizes you might win.
How Do I Reset Or Change My Password?
You can reset or change your password anytime. Just follow the steps below.
Forgot your password:
- If you’ve signed up or logged in with Facebook, you’ll need to recover your password.
- If you’ve forgotten your password, go to your app menu on the upper left hand side of your “My Stations” page and choose “My Account.” There you’ll find the “Forgot your password” link.
Change your password:
If you would like to change your current password, go to your app menu on the upper left hand side of your “My Stations” page and choose “My Account.” Choose “change your password”. Note: You must be signed in to your account to do this.
How Do I Change My E-mail Address?
If you need to change the email address associated with your Clip Radio account, please email our support team.
How do I Turn On/Off Push Notifications?
Depending on the type of phone you have (Android or iPhone) follow the steps below to turn your Push Notifications on or off:
- Go to your phone settings
- Select “Application manager” or “Apps” (depending on your device)
- Find and select Clip Radio
- Check the box next to “Show Notifications”
- Go to your phone settings
- Select “Notification Center”
- Find and select Clip Radio
- Under the “Alerts” section, swipe “Show in notification center” and “Show on lock screen” from the off to on position.
How Do I Know If I’ve Entered A Contest/Promotion?
In order to enter a contest or promotion, you must have a Clip Radio user account and be logged in. If you receive a contest, promo or sweepstakes item, just tap the item. Once the item detail screen appears, you may be asked to provide information or share your contact details. Simply agree to any terms or conditions and tap the button to enter. That’s it!
When Will I Find Out If I’m A Winner?
Once the contest period ends, instructions outlining the process for prize redemption will be communicated to all winners by email.
Is My Smartphone Supported?
Currently, Clip Radio supports iPhone devices running iOS 6.0 or later and Android devices running Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) or later. Clip Radio is not currently optimized for tablets. Our team is working to support new technologies, so be sure to check back for updates.
Where Do I Find Rules For Clip Radio Sweepstakes And Giveaways?
Clip Radio supports a variety of sweepstakes and giveaways. When we administer the giveaway, our rules can be found here. When a Clip Radio partner administers the giveaway, you can find the rules on their website. Typically, giveaway rules will also be viewable by clicking through the “clip” or offer that informed you of the opportunity.
